Our lamb reflects generations of farming and butchery experience within the Thornton family. It is about as local as it gets, being home reared by John’s parents, Geoff and Anne, on the family farm in Oldstead, North Yorkshire. Raised on pastures overlooking Byland Abbey, the flock are tended to with care and attention to high welfare standards. Once selected, our skilled butchers prepare each carcass in-house, using traditional techniques to maximise quality, flavour and consistency. From pasture to counter, every stage is closely linked to our heritage, providing outstanding taste, complete traceability and true Yorkshire provenance.
